ANCIENT DYEING TECHNIQUES
To guarantee a product as natural as possible, we have perfected some techniques which involve the use of exclusively natural ingredients, with particular attention to water saving.
BATH COLORING
This technique uses a coloring liquid obtained through a decoction of dyeing plants, in which the yarn skein is immersed. The dyeing phase can last several hours, during which the yarn is mixed to make the color uniform and then dried to air to enhance the color. The process is entirely manual and has the effect of generating irregular shades that make each piece of clothing unique.
ECOPRINTING
This technique exploits the ability of flowers and leaves to be able to print their own imprint on the surfaces where they rest. The vegetables are laid directly on the fabric, which is rolled around a rigid support and then cooked, phase in which the color is released from plants and flowers.
By changing the type of rigid support or using a color bath for the cooking phase, further effects are obtained, which add uniqueness to the fabric..
